Lucy Clark is a disabled dance artist and choreographer producing highly rhythmical contemporary dance theatre pieces infused with elements of tap, hip hop, and jazz. Her work combines her lived experiences with elements of neuropsychology, in order to produce performances that encourage connection by initiating conversations that usually remain unspoken.
Since graduating from Trinity Laban in 2022, Lucy has toured previous work across the UK in theatres and art venues such as Brighton Dome, The Place, South East Dance, Theatre Deli, and Camden People's Theatre, and was commissioned by Dancin' Oxford and Pegasus Theatre to create ‘That thing’ (2023) which received a 5 star review on its premiere in Oxford.
Most recently Lucy has created her first full length work 'Baggage' which premiered at South East Dance in July 2024 funded by Arts Council England and delivered by Marina Studios under 'A Space to Call Home'.
Lucy is driven to champion disabled artists voices, through producing accessible and meaningful dance theatre works which effortlessly interweave science, social issues and movement.
